This is a great place to stay, especially if you are coming from Philadelphia— a quick drive to a relaxing mountain retreat. We stayed with our dogs and they enjoyed the fenced in deck. We had some great dinners in Jim Thorpe recommended by our hosts. Thanks again!

Our stay here was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The home is not only beautiful, but also exceptionally comfortable, spotless, and thoughtfully styled with great attention to detail. It truly felt like a retreat. If you’re looking for a peaceful, quiet, or even romantic getaway, this place is perfect in every way.
The beds were unbelievably comfortable, making it easy to relax and recharge, and the bathrooms were immaculate and well-appointed. Every part of the home exceeded our expectations—nothing was overlooked. This was one of those rare stays where everything felt just right. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would gladly stay here again without hesitation.

This is our 2nd time staying at Winnie’s Poconos Retreat. It was just as perfect as we remember. The house is super clean and aesthetically pleasing as well as super cozy and well maintained. The attention to detail is unmatched and everything we need is at our finger tips. It makes for a calm and relaxing stay. We will definitely be back next year.

What a wonderful getaway spot! The home is simply beautiful! So clean and well cared for. Nothing not thought of! Cozy socks on arrival, plenty of towels provided, full brita in fridge, great variety of coffees and teas, easy thorough instructions on how to work the cozy fireplace and everything else needed, and a very simple check out! We had a wonderful little getaway. Super cozy, clean, and modern. Hot tub and sauna were great. Also used the grill and fireplace. Host was very nice and responsive. We had a wonderful time and will be back!

Absolutely loved this place! Exactly as pictured. My husband and I have been to many Airbnb’s and must say this was one of the nicest ones! It was peaceful, clean, and beautiful! We would definitely come back because of the serenity. We even saw deer each morning and afternoon - which is always a nice treat coming from the city.

I can’t say enough about how amazing our stay was and how wonderful the hosts were. We got there right at the beginning of a snow storm. They showed up the next day to shovel, salt, and even cleaned off our vehicles! The home itself was immaculate and had everything we needed, plus extra treats, for our four day stay. We didn’t leave the house, as intended, and enjoyed everything the home provided. It’s even more impressive in person. I can’t recommend this place and host more! Well worth it.

This is my second time staying at this Airbnb and it never disappoints! The place was very cozy and clean. They even had a Christmas tree up for the holiday which added to the cozy vibes. Forgot to mention that they always give you some fuzzy socks to keep which is amazing. Very happy with our stay and we’ll definitely be back!
